Summer Passionfruit Mocktail

Whether you’re trying to cut back on your alcohol consumption this silly season, don’t drink at all or are simply looking for a delicious and refreshing family-friendly mocktail recipe for the dinner table, you can’t go past trying out our refreshing summer passionfruit mocktail recipe!

Made with fresh passionfruit, coconut water, fresh mint, Azteca Margarita’s Classic Lime Margarita Mix and then topped with sparkling water, this fruity drink is everything we love about the summer festive season: zesty, fresh, and bright!

Azteca Margarita is handcrafted by a local margarita-loving duo in Byron Bay, everyone’s favourite laidback town in northern NSW. All of Azteca’s mixes are made with real ingredients, no added sugar, no funky colours, no weird preservatives, or ingredients you can’t pronounce.

 Ingredients: 

  • 50ml Azteca Classic Lime Margarita Mix
  • Pulp of about 2 passionfruits (depending on how full they are)
  • 75ml coconut water
  • Handful of mint
  • Slice of lime to garnish

 Method: 

  1. Slice a wheel of lime and set aside. Use the other half of your lime to run around the rim of your chosen mocktail glass. Sprinkle the Badass Salts on a plate and roll the rim of your glass into the salts so they stick.
  2. Scrape the pulp of 2 passionfruits into your glass.
  3. Clap a handful of mint leaves together in your hands (it helps to release the flavours) and place them into the glass.
  4. Pour in the Azteca Margarita Mix, coconut water, and a handful of ice. Stir everything together.
  5. Top with some sparkling water and garnish with your lime wheel and sprig of mint to finish. Cheers!
