Anti-Inflammatory Wild Berry Smoothie

After the end of year festivities, give your body some well needed nourishment with this anti-inflammatory wild berry smoothie!

This tasty breakfast smoothie is packed with anti-inflammatory ingredients and is filling enough to keep you satisfied until lunch. You can be sure you are getting the antioxidant rich, anti-inflammatory foods your body is begging for with this smoothie!

Wild blueberries are extremely high in antioxidants (even higher than regular blueberries!) which work to fight inflammation in the body. Other anti-inflammatory ingredients in this smoothie are maca, turmeric, cinnamon, and L-Glutamine.

L-Glutamine is also fantastic for gut health. The addition of the almond butter is a source of fat which will help your body better absorbs all the nutrients it’s getting from the other fruit and veg in this smoothie, while keeping you fuller for longer.

 Ingredients: 

  • ½ cup Mt. Wilder Wild Blueberries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 1 tbsp Melrose Almond Spread
  • 1 tbsp Loving Earth Maca
  • ½ tsp Prana On L-Glutamine
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • Raw C Coconut Water (enough to cover all ingredients)

 Method: 

  1. Place everything into a blender and blend! Enjoy.
