This recipe is a super simple, 3 ingredient warming tonic drink can be whipped up in a matter of minutes and will give you that little brain boosts to carry you through the rest of the day.
All you’ll need for this recipe is cacao, a milk of your choice, and a mushroom extract powder (we’ve chosen to use Mason’s Mushrooms by Superfeast).
Cacao is rich in B vitamins, which can support cognitive function and energy levels. Cacao also contains theobromine, which is like caffeine’s less intense cousin. Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp WholeLife Healthfoods Certified Organic Cacao
- 250ml Pure Harvest Coco Quench Organic Coconut Milk
- 1 tsp Superfeast Mason’s Mushrooms
Method:
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, add all ingredients and stir to combine. Heat until warm.
- Use a handheld milk frother to froth the milk and to make sure everything’s combined extra well.
- Pour into your favourite mug and enjoy!
