WholeLife x Tess Begg Vegan White Chocolate and Chai Oats
We teamed up with our favourite vegan; Tess Begg, to create the ultimate wintery oats recipe. Tess Begg is a passionate vegan, foodie and fitness enthusiast. Across her social media channels, Tess shares vegan recipe tutorials and workout videos. Tess has recently launched her third vegan cookbook, “Oh Sweet Vegan”.
We’re so excited to share this recipe with you all – It contains some of our most loved WholeLife Healthfoods including Organic Oats, Melrose Chai Butter, Loving Earth White Chocolate and Almo Almond Milk!
Kick start your Winter mornings with these creamy oats, doused with a healthy serving of warming chai spices and vegan white chocolate… It’s the ultimate brekky that will make you feel like you’re getting a warm hug.
Recipe:
Oatmeal:
- 1 cup WholeLife rolled oats
- 1/4 Cup WholeLife organic almonds
- 1 tbsp WholeLife organic chia seeds
- 1/2 tsp Chefs Choice vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1 tbsp Melrose Almond Chai Butter
- 1½ cup Almo Almond Milk
Topping:
- Fresh banana
- Fresh blueberries
- Melrose Almond Chai Butter
- Drizzle maple syrup
- Loving Earth White Chocolate
Method:
- Add the rolled oats, almonds, chia seeds, vanilla, spices, nut butter and almond milk to a blender. Blend until combined and the oats are slightly broken down.
- Pour the mixture into a saucepan over medium heat and cook until thickened to your desired consistency, add more almond milk if needed.
- Transfer oatmeal to a bowl and garnish with a cinnamon stick, banana, blueberries, nut butter, maple syrup and white chocolate.
