It’s safe to say that this year has absolutely flown by and suddenly Christmas and New Years is coming up faster than we can even blink. From lockdowns to more lockdowns, this year has been challenging for many and the time is now to reach out to loved ones and spread kindness.
This Christmas, make sure you’re checking in on friends or family who may be doing it extra tough during this time. Here at WholeLife, we want to give back to our community with the help of our Kindness Tree Initiative. What’s a Kindness Tree? Each WholeLife store has chosen an organisation where they will be donating gifts to. You can help us give back by adding a gift under the Kindness tree at your local WholeLife store.
Here are a few examples of what organisations our WholeLife stores have chosen…
Mareeba WholeLife Pharmacy and Healthfoods
WholeLife Mareeba have selected the Cairns Regional Domestic Violence Service as their organisation of choice. They provide professional advice for children or adults that have been in a domestic violence situation. Services include adult and child counselling and court support. If you would like to donate a gift, household items, clothing or essential items could be extremely helpful!
Lawler’s WholeLife Pharmacy and Healthfoods
WholeLife Lawler’s have selected Bear Cottage as their organisation of choice. Bear Cottage is the only Children’s hospice in NSW and care for children with life-limiting conditions.
Barr Street WholeLife Pharmacy and Healthfoods
WholeLife Barr Street have chosen YETI (Youth Empowered Towards Independence) as their organisation of choice. YETI supports young members from the Far North Queensland community and offers a range of programs including Drug & Alcohol Counselling.
