  • Commitment to yourself and your goals is the biggest form of self-love. Deciding what you want and going after it, whether it is within your health, fitness, relationships, career or personal goals, is the best way to give back to YOU.
  • Appreciating our bodies and what they are capable of, and keeping our mindset in check every step of the way is the key! It is important to understand that there will be highs and lows, good days and bad. After all, the journey is supposed to be the best part! So, make sure you take a moment to reflect and give credit to yourself along the way, and celebrate all the progress in between.
  • Don’t fall into the trap of playing the compare game! You are in control of your own life. It’s up to you how you want to live it! Think positively and focus your thoughts on the desired outcome. Only then will your dreams become reality, through manifesting, practising self-love, and hard work of course

  • Every positive change in your life will be a result of a decision. Either you decide to change something or not. Try to create a change and begin the steps forward into creating a life you are totally obsessed with. This comes down to making the decision to create habits. Yes! Make the decision to create habits that no longer hold you back or allow the excuses of your old self to hold you back as you step into your best year yet, as your highest self.
  • Create habits that will change your life! Why?
    • You deserve to have good internal and external health.
    • You deserve to have healing energy flow through your cells.
    • You deserve to love yourself.
    • You deserve to live a life of pure happiness, laughter, and fulfillment.
  • Habits you can implement:
    • Are you snoozing the alarm? Let’s stop the snoozing! Practise going to bed a little earlier, to ensure you are getting enough sleep during the night. This may assist to aid in your training recovery, thought focus/brain function, and reduce stress on your nervous system. You also have a far greater chance of adhering to your nutritional plan and listening to your body more intuitively.
    • Start your day with a glass of water. Before you reach for the coffee or breakfast, first allow yourself time to flush your system with water. This will help kick start your day, helping you achieve your water target! 300-400ml is a great start for first thing in the morning!
    • Daily intentions and affirmations! Create yourself an achievable “To-Do” or “Non-Negotiable” list and practise your “I am…” mirror and journaling work. This will help you to move in the direction towards your highest self.
    • Enjoy a wholesome breakfast filled with some protein. Ensuring your day starts with a delicious and filling meal allows you to feel satiated and sets you up for a successful day of hitting your nutritional targets. This could be as simple as a smoothie, an omelette, or baked beans on whole grain toast!

Courtney’s quotes to live by are “Just because you are struggling doesn’t mean you are failing” and “When things change inside you, things change around you”.
