The Foundation works closely with communities and leverages data from Seabin Smart Technology to combat ocean pollution, with a strong focus on reducing plastic waste.
What is the problem?
Our oceans face a crisis with millions of tons of plastic waste entering waterways annually, from large debris to tiny microplastics, this pollution poses a significant threat to the health of our oceans and the creatures that inhabit them. In addition to plastic pollution, ocean acidification, caused by excess CO₂ forming carbonic acid, further threatens marine biodiversity. Addressing these issues is crucial for ocean health.
