Harvested from the South Island of New Zealand, Pacific Harvest’s Wakame leaves are then air dried to preserve mineral density and tested for contaminants. With a subtle flavour, can be used as any green vegetable is used to complement a meal — in salads, stir fries or soups. The white powder you see on the leaf is what is said to give seaweed its natural umami flavour and is not to be confused with mould.
