It’s suitable for all kinds of constipation and people, easy to prepare and use, and comes in a wide range of flavours. You may have previously used MOVICOL on the advice of a healthcare professional but you can also keep MOVICOL in your cupboard at home, handy for occasional constipation episodes. Ingredients

Each 13.8 g sachet contains: Macrogol 3350 – 13.125g, Sodium chloride 350.7 mg, Sodium bicarbonate 178.5 mg, Potassium chloride 46.6 mg. On reconstitution in 125 mL, each sachet provides: Sodium 65 mmol/L, Chloride 53 mmol/L, Bicarbonate 17 mmol/L, Potassium 5.4 mmol/L. Also contains potassium acesulfame and lemon/lime flavour.

How to Use

For oral administration. Each sachet should be dissolved in 125 mL water. For faecal impaction 8 sachets may be dissolved in 1 litre of water. Store reconstituted solution in a refrigerator and discard any solution not used within 6 hours.
