Ferro Tabs are folic acid and iron tablets, used as a source of iron and folic acid for prevention and treatment of deficiencies or anaemia. Iron is important for growth and development of the body and folic acid is necessary for red blood cell production. A lack in either of these can lead to deficiencies or anaemia which ought to be treated to remain healthy and stable, especially while pregnant.
Ferrous fumarate 200 MG and other ingredients: croscarmellose sodium. glyserol, hypromellose, iron oxide black, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, macragol 400, macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, purified talc, sodium laurysulfate, sodium starch glycollate, titanium dioxide).
Ferro-tab should be taken by adults only for the prevention of iron and/or folic acid deficiency, where one tablet should be consumed daily. It may also be used as a treatment for anaemia, where one tablet should be consumed 1 to 3 times daily or as recommended by a health professional. It’s recommended to take it before food.
