Description

Helps reduce fever and relieves the discomfort of cold and flu symptoms. It may also be used to reduce fever after childhood vaccinations. A single dose of this medication provides 6-8 hours fever reduction.

Ingredients

Each 5 mL contains Ibuprofen 100 mg

How to Use

Use only as directed. May be taken every 6 to 8 hours as required with a maximum of 4 doses in 24 hours. This product is better tolerated with food or milk.

Warnings

Not to be used in infants under 6 months. Seek medical advice before giving this medication to infants aged 6-12 months. Do not give to children if they: have a stomach ulcer or other stomach disorders, impaired kidney function or heart failure, have diarrhoea or vomiting, are allergic to aspirin, ibuprofen, anti-inflammatory medicines or other medicines used for pain relief, are allergic to hydroxybenzoate preservatives or sodium benzoate Unless advised by a doctor do not use: With other medicines containing ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines, If your child has asthma, If your child is taking other medicines regularly or other medicines for pain relief, For more than a few days at a time. While using this medicine: Use only as directed. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Excessive use can be harmful and increase the risk of heart attack, stroke or liver damage. If your child gets an allergic reaction, stop taking and see your doctor immediately. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days or fever worsens, consult your doctor. Do not use more than four times in 24 hours.Do not use if trying to become pregnant. Adults considering taking this product should note that it should not be used in the first 6 months of pregnancy, except on doctor’s advice and should not be used at all during the last 3 months of pregnancy.
