Chemists’ Own Ibuprofen Pain & Fever Suspension is formulated to provide temporary relief of pain and discomfort in babies and children aged 6 months and older. Effective against headaches, teething pain, earache, muscle sprains, and cold or flu symptoms, it also helps reduce fever, including post-vaccination. Its liquid suspension ensures accurate dosing and ease of administration for young children.

Warnings
Not to be used in infants under 6 months. Seek medical advice before giving this medication to infants aged 6-12 months. Do not give to children if they have a stomach ulcer or other stomach disorders, impaired kidney fuction or heart failure. Have diarrhoea or vomiting, are allergic to aspirin, ibuprofen, anti-inflammmatory medicines or other medicines used for pain relief. Are allergic to hydroxybenzoate preservatives or sodium benzoate. Unless advised by a doctor do not use. With other medicines containing ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines. If your child has asthma, If your child is taking other medicines regularly or other medicines for pain relief. For more than a few days at a time while using this medicine. Use only as directed. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Excessive use can be harmful and increase the risk of heart attack, stroke or liver damage. If your child gets an allergic reaction, stop taking and see your doctor immediately. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days or fever worsens, consult your doctor. Do not use more than four times in 24 hours. Do not use if trying to become pregnant. Adults considering taking this product should note that it should not be used in the first 6 months of pregnancy, except on doctor’s advice and shouldnot be used all all during the last 3 months of pregnancy.
