Ingredients
Loperamide Hydrochloride 2 mg
How to Use
Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 tablets initially followed by 1 tablet after each loose stool, as needed. Maximum of 8 tablets in 24 hours. Do not crush the tablet. Place the tablet on your tongue where it dissolves instantly without water.
Warnings
Do not: – Give to children under 12 years of age – Take if you have a medical condition where constipation should be avoided. See your doctor or pharmacist before use: – If you are pregnant or breastfeeding – If you have a fever, severe stomach pain, bloody diarrhoea or ongoing condition affecting the bowel. Unless advised by a doctor, do not use: – For more than 48 hours – During pregnancy or lactation. While using this product: – If the condition persists after two days of treatment, seek medical advice as soon as possible – If dehydration is suspected seek medical attention – Drink plenty of fluid as fluid and electrolyte depletion may occur with diarrhoea.
