Treatment for Moderate to Severe Allergies and Hayfever Symptoms.
Relieves allergy and hayfever symptoms caused by pollen, dust, pets, and mould. Helps ease red eyes, runny or blocked nose, itchy eyes or nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and nasal congestion. Offers fast-acting and long-lasting relief.
Ingredients
Azelastine (as hydrochloride) 125 μg , Fluticasone propionate 50 μg.
How to Use
Adults and Adolescents (aged 12-17 years): One spray in each nostril twice daily (morning and evening). Adolescents (aged 12-17) are to only use upon medical advice
Preparing the spray: Shake the bottle gently before each use for about 5 seconds. Then, remove the protective cap
Prior to first use: Chemists’ Own Allermist Nasal Spray must be primed by pressing down and releasing the pump 6 times until a fine mist appears. If the nasal spray has not been used for more than 7
days, reprime by pressing down and releasing the pump a number of times until a fine mist is produced
Using the spray: After blowing the nose, spray the suspension once into each nostril keeping the head tilted downward. After each use, wipe the spray tip and replace the protective cap.
Warnings
Do not use in children under 12 years. Adolescents aged between 12-17 years only use upon medical advice. Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding as no specific studies have
been done on using both ingredients during these times.
This preparation may cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive or operate machinery. Avoid alcohol.
Do not use for over 6 months unless advised by your health professional. Caution if symptoms persist and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist if:
– symptoms are not relieved within 7 days
– your nose bleeds
– you develop signs or symptoms of a nasal or sinus infection such as fever, pain or swelling, or discoloured nasal discharge
– you have eye pain or visual disturbances
Stop use and see a doctor or pharmacist if you:
– develop an allergic skin reaction, shortness of breath or wheezing after using Chemists’ Own Allermist nasal spray
Contains benzalkonium chloride and phenethyl alcohol as antimicrobial preservatives
Store below 25oC. Do not refrigerate. Do not freeze. Discard after 6 months of first opening the bottle.
