This warming broccoli soup is rich, creamy, and oh-so-healthy, with a dynamic twist thanks to Pacific Harvest, specialists in edible seaweed products.

This recipe includes the team’s Irish Sea Moss which you can turn into a gel at home, following this recipe! Known for being an excellent source of iodine and supporting thyroid function, it’s the key ingredient that’ll amp up your broccoli soup and infuse it with additional, delicious health benefits!

Cooking time: 20 mins.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup Pacific Harvest Irish Moss Gel*
- 2 heads (about 5-6 cups) of broccoli stems and florets, coarsely chopped
- 3 cups hot water
- ½ cup cashews
- Kelp Sea Salt to taste
- Garnish options: Pacific Harvest Chilli or Citrus Seaweed Seasoning, fresh herbs, drizzle of olive oil or coconut cream
Method
- Steam broccoli until soft but not mushy.
- Transfer to a food processor or blender and add other ingredients.
- Blend, adding additional water if required until desired consistency is achieved
- Ladle into bowls and garnish with your selected toppings
- Serve warm and soak in the goodness!
