Italian Sausage Tomato Gnocchi with Nutra Naturals

Ingredients

– 1 tbsp olive oil
– 500g Italian sausages (we used pork and fennel)
– 600g fresh gnocchi
– ½ cup semi-dried tomatoes
– 1 tbsp Nutra Naturals Chicken Bone Broth Concentrate Natural
– 2 tbsp tomato paste
– 1.5 cups water
– ½ tsp pepper
– ½ cup parmesan, grated
– ¾ cup cream
– 1 ball of burrata
– Handful of basil leaves

Method

1. Remove the sausage meat from the skin.
2. In a pan on medium heat add olive oil, then add sausage meat. Fry until caramelised and cook through (about 7-8 minutes).
3. Meanwhile add semi-dried tomatoes, Chicken Bone Broth Concentrate Natural Chicken, tomato paste, water, lemon juice and pepper to a blender or food processor, blitz to combine.
4. Add the tomato mixture, cream and parmesan to the sausages.
5. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then add the gnocchi, cook for another 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.
6. Tear open the burrata and add dollops of it around the pan. Scatter over semi dried tomatoes, add basil and cracked pepper.
