International Women’s Day – Successful Women within WholeLife

Talking about International Women's Day and Successful Women within WholeLife

With International Women’s Day coming up on the 8th of March, we wanted to take some time to recognise some of the successful women within our business! We like to think we’re blessed with the best, so why not keep reading and get to know them?

Jacqui (in the middle)

I have been a pharmacist for over 15 years and more recently completed a Bachelor of Health Science in nutrition to be able to give a more holistic service as a pharmacist.  Last year I was given an opportunity to open my own WholeLife Pharmacy & Healthfoods store in Strathpine – a perfect choice of brand to suit my passion of providing both traditional pharmacy services and natural medicine options.  We have a great team on board, and I enjoy coming into my store each day knowing that we can make a difference to people’s lives!

Kelly

My name is Kelly and I am 47 years of age.  I have been working in pharmacy for a total of 20 years now, and I am the manager of Swansea WholeLife Pharmacy.  I love the new WholeLife concept in pharmacy because it covers a large range of different health food products separate from pharmacy which covers a large variety of needs for our customers.

I love to cook a new recipe each week, so I love trying all the different products we have in store to create yummy flavours in my meals.

Leah

I have been working for the Pappalardo Group at Wholelife Pharmacy & Healthfoods Pease St for 4 years.  Having come from traditional pharmacy, it has been refreshing to be a part of a new and exciting brand. WholeLife has reignited my passion for pharmacy and now healthfood.  I have been able to bring with me skills to support and manage not only Pease St, but support new and existing stores under the Pappalardo Group.

Jacenta (on the right)

Hi my name is Jacenta and I am the managing partner at WholeLife Maroochydore. I live quite an active lifestyle outside of work.  I run, crossfit, pilates, hike and I love the outdoors & travelling!  Owning a business like WholeLife supports the life I live so it only seemed natural to go into ownership of a WholeLife over any other franchise.  It is exciting being a part of a brand that is on the ball with the ever-evolving health space, and I enjoy being able to put my own personal touch on my store. Our approach at WholeLife Maroochydore is tailored healthcare.

I love that I am able to support people’s health outcomes – but I can’t do this alone. Our team has grown over the years – naturopaths, nutritionists and pharmacists working together – it is a team effort – and you really don’t get that with any other brand!  Starting a business has not come without its challenges, but those challenges are definitely offset by how much I have learnt and grown as a person over the past 4 years.  Our team is excited to continue to grow this store as a destination for all things health on the Sunny Coast.

So, here’s to the amazing women in our lives! A massive thank you to Jacqui, Kelly, Leah and Jacenta.
