Collagen Chocolate Mousse

Just to really hit the nail into the chocolate covered coffin this Easter, we’re bringing you a deliciously fluffy and collagen packed dessert that’s quick and easy to make and sure to go down an absolute treat!

We were all way too excited about Nutra Naturals’ brand new Collagen Beauty powders here at WholeLife HQ and we just knew we needed to incorporate these sweet new flavours (pun intended!) into a healthy-ish, guilt-free dessert.

Why healthy-ish? Of course, chocolate mousse is a bit of a decadent dessert, but we’ve packed it with healthy fats and protein for some guilt-free indulgence.

This collagen chocolate mousse can be enjoyed year round, but to make it a little bit festive we’ve decorated ours with Loving Earth’s Magic Mini Eggs, which are organic, plant based, and made from ethical cacao.

Makes 4 servings.

 Ingredients 

 Method 

  1. Add all ingredients into a bowl and stir with a spatula so that the wet and dry ingredients combine. Make sure you only scoop the cream of the coconut milk out and not the water, which should have separated in the can (the cream to the top and the water to the bottom) from refrigerating it overnight.
  2. Using an electric mixer, whip ingredients for 5-10 minutes until everything is well combined, and light and fluffy.
  3. Garnish with Loving Earth’s delicious vegan choccy Easter eggs (or anything else you’d like such as strawberries) and serve!

This collagen chocolate mousse can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
