Almond Butter & Chia Protein Balls

Packed full of protein and nutritious ingredients. These Almond Butter & Chia protein balls are the perfect grab & go snack to nourish your body!

Ingredients:

  • 10 pitted dates
  • 1 heaped tbsp Amazonia Isolate Protein Powder
  • 4 tbsp The Almond Farmer Chocolate Almond Butter
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/2 bar bennetto dark chocolate

Prep time: 15 mins

Makes: 10 balls

Let’s Begin:

Method:

  1. Pulse the dates, protein powder, almond butter, chia and almonds in a food processor until well combined.
  2. Using clean hands roll into 10 tablespoon sized balls.
  3. Chill in refrigerator on a tray for 10 minutes.
  4. Break up the chocolate into pieces and place in a clean bowl, we have chosen the Bennetto Mint & Cocoa nib chocolate for a pop of minty fresh flavour. Place the bowl over the top of a saucepan with boiling water. Slowly melt your chocolate until smooth. Turn off the heat.
  5. Using a skewer or fork, carefully half dip the chilled protein balls in the melted chocolate.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for a further 5 minutes then they are ready to go!
