Celebrating International Women’s Day 2023 at WholeLife

 INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

How WholeLife is Working to Empower Women in the Work Place

International Women’s Day is a global celebration that provides an opportunity to recognise the countless contributions of women and to bring to light the remaining politics of gender equality. This year, we are bringing the focus on Women in the workplace by interviewing the women of WholeLife Pharmacy & Healthfoods stores for the inside scoop.

On this International Women’s Day, we celebrate the achievements of the women in WholeLife’s workplace and acknowledge the ongoing struggle for gender equality. We honour the women of WholeLife who have paved the way and inspire future generations to build a career in the pharmacy space.

Here is what two of our stores have to say, a very big thank you to our Lawler’s Dee Why store (located in Sydney’s Northern Beaches) and West End store (located in Brisbane) for participating!

Does WholeLife contribute to the availability and accessibility of healthcare that specifically address women’s health needs?

We work hard to make sure that women feel safe in our store. We have a private consult room for women who would like to talk in a safe space. We also always have both male and female pharmacists and pharmacy assistants on the floor to ensure that each person feels listened to and safe.
